Chairman

HRH Bandar Bin Khalid Al-Faisal is the Chairman of Investment Enterprises, a holding company managing subsidiaries in a variety of industries. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Watan, a leading Arabic language newspaper with Kingdom-wide circulation, covering major events in Saudi Arabia and around the world. Member of the Board of Directors of Vision Capital, which is an asset management and advisory firm concentrating on alternative investments such as hedge funds, and venture capital. Vision Capital manages three investment funds in these asset classes and advises clients on investment strategies for their 
overall portfolios. Managing Director of the Saudi Aviation Club, which offers a variety of aviation activities to serve the citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. In March 2005, he led the founding of Sama, Saudi Arabia’s first low cost airline.

Andrew Cowen
Chief Executive Officer

Experience: Andrew has 17 years in the aviation industry initially in various strategic finance roles with British Airways. Joined Go (Stansted) as Director of Strategy, before becoming Finance Director as part of the MBO from British Airways. After the takeover of GO by easyJet, advised on a variety of airline projects including a MBO and a number of start-up’s. Led founding of Mango Aviation Partners Ltd in 2004. Since May 2005 has led the operational start-up of Sama

Samer Atawi
Chief Commercial Officer

Samer Atawi Began his career with WAJAX Industries Canada, Where he was promoted to become Material Handling Equipment Sales manager. In 1998, he began working for Coca-Cola Bottling Company (CCBCJ) in Jordan, with responsibilities including establishing and managing the Supply Chain Directive. Following this, Mr.Atawi was engaged by France telecom – Mobile com- Jordan as their Strategic Sales operations Manager. Most recently, Samer Atawi was employed as the program director & Chief Commercial officer for Callem Saudi Arabia, where he led a team to design, plan and manage the implementation and start-up of Callem in record time.

Samer Atawi is the Chief Commercial officer for Sama Airlines. Mr.Atawi holds a B.Sc. in mechanical Engineering, and is both a Jordanian and Canadian citizen. He is married with three children.
